Thieves All Natural Cleaner
This last March I made one of the best decisions of the year. I decided to buy Young Livings Thieves cleaner to try. When I first received it in the mail, I let it sit in the box for almost three weeks. I was really busy and just didn't have a chance to get to it.
Once I did try it, I was sad that I hadn't gotten it out earlier. It was all I hoped it would be and even more. I was looking for something that was going to be safe AND actually clean my house.
I have little kids who like to try to EAT cleaner! I have tried all kinds of safety locks and putting cleaning supplies up high, but they always find ways to get into the cleaning products.
Also, for a number of years I have been trying different natural cleaners to find something that I would like to use in my home. None of the cleaners I tried seemed to work well and I have a house full of MESSY children!
And then, Thieves came into my life.
Not only does it clean really well (I'll never forget the first time I used it to tackle a particularly dirty kid bathroom. I armed my two little kids with paper towels and sprayed down EVERY surface), but it smells amazing, is non toxic AND it provides immunity boosting benefits when it is inhaled. No need to open windows or turn on a fan when you are cleaning.
It really doesn't get much better than that. A natural all purpose cleaner that works, smells good AND not only doesn't harm my kids who are obsessed with sucking on spray bottles (anyone else out there?) but actually helps them to resist all the sick germs come winter? It almost seems too good to be true. It's not.
There are so many uses for Thieves, but I will just list a few of the main ways that I use it.
- Wiping off counter tops (works great on granite)
- Polishing wood
- Cleaning toilets
- Washing mirrors
- Wiping down faucets
- Mopping floors
- Washing tile
I love cleaning with Thieves! It comes in the white bottle shown. Then you pour one ounce into a spray bottle and dilute the rest of the way with water. The bottle lasts a long time and I no longer worry when my toddler lunges for the cleaning bottle. In fact, I often hand it over and let him spray away. It has been such a bonding experience for our family.
