This year I am happy to share my first ever Easter home tour!  My goal was to keep my decorations simple.  I also decided to challenge my creative juices by reusing decorations that I already have and finding new ways to bring them to life.

I've talked about it before, but I'll say it again.  I think its really smart to find a few key pieces that you love and can use in different spaces throughout your home and from season to season.  I think it's fun to find new ways to use these same things.  

I am happy to share this little project that I did in one day.  It is always amazing how such a simple change in my home can bring me so much happiness.  I am going to show you how I did an entryway makeover for less than $60 by "shopping" my house and reusing items in new ways.  

At the end of the post I will also list all of the items and what I paid for them to give you an idea of how much this look cost me.

Even though it's not officially spring in my neck of the woods, I can feel that it is coming.  The anticipation has inspired me to make a fun, light hearted spring printable that I wanted to share with you.

Today I am sharing some St. Patrick's Day decorating tips, but really they can apply when you are decorating for lots of things.  I like to decorate for all the holidays in some way or another. My kids love to decorate and create a festive atmosphere and I love to change things.  Even though I like celebrating holidays, I don't always like to spend a lot of time or money decorating for every holiday.  

Today I am sharing two cute diy St. Patrick's Day decor ideas. They are easy to do and can be made with only a few materials and not a lot of money.

I got the inspiration for this project when I visited a Habitat for Humanity Restore.  It is a place where you can buy tools, used furniture and other home items at a discounted rate.  All the proceeds of the sales go to helping build homes in the community and support the Habitat for Humanity projects.
